Anna's First Holy Communion

Anna received her First Holy Communion this weekend. We didn't let a little rain dampen our spirits. It was a beautiful mass and we're very proud of Anna! And I might be a little biased... but I thought Anna was the prettiest girl there!

Bought a new car!

Finally got rid of our Acura. This car was our first purchase together as a couple and Todd was sad to see it go. We traded it in for a new Nissan Altima!

Yes, I know it's been a while since I've posted pictures! We spent a weekend in NYC to celebrate the holiday season. It was crowded but we had fun ice skating, seeing a Broadway show and shopping!

Anna's first (and hopefully last) broken bone!

Anna took a little spill at the park on Wednesday night. At the ER, we found out that her arm was broken right above the elbow. She was sent by ambulance to A. I. Dupont Hospital in Wilmington for surgery to set the broken bone. She has two metal pins in her bone and a cool multi-colored cast. She was very brave throughout the whole ordeal. Anna has received lots of get-well gifts which she has generously shared with Meg. Meg is helping her sister by giving her an extra hand when she needs it!

Anna goes into second grade!

Anna started second grade today. She was a little nervous starting at a new school but she seems to be fitting right in! Meg was a little lost without her big sister today but she'll be busy when she starts preschool next week!

Saying Goodbye to 2432 Craycroft Drive

We are officially moved out of our house in Colorado Springs...here are a few final photos. 8 July we had back to the East Coast.

Pony rides at the circus

Todd took the girls to a circus this weekend. The performance was underwhelming but at least they enjoyed the pony rides!

Anna's Birthday

Anna turned 7 on April 19th. We celebrated at Red Robin with Aunt Deb and Uncle Rod. Then we went home for presents and a giant cookie cake. Meg was upset; she didn't understand why it couldn't be her birthday too. Anna was gracious enough to let Meg open all of her presents!
