Hanging out at the pool

We spent Saturday afternoon at the pool on base. This was Meg's first foray into a real pool. She really enjoyed it. Todd's been trying to teach Anna to swim. She's doing very well and will soon be on her way to swimming independently.

Meg has adopted one of Anna's baby dolls. She looks so cute when she holds it and tries to feed it with a spoon. She's been so attached to this doll lately that "baby" became her first word! She started walking last week and is getting better each day. She looks so cute toddling around every where.

Having fun in the hot weather

It's been a bit warm here in our neck of the woods. We got a new kiddie pool for Anna and Meg. Anna really enjoys going for a swim in the afternoon. She's going to start swim lessons next week at the base pool.

We've also been spending a lot of time in the basement where it is cool. The girls have their playroom set up down there and I have my computer down there also.

One more thing, Meg took her first steps this week! We've been helping her practice and she's up to taking 9 or 10 steps before she falls down. She'll be walking around in no time!
