Anna the fearless soccer player

Anna started soccer practice this week. She had fun kicking the ball into the goal but once the bigger and faster kids started kicking the ball away from her, she started crying. She didn't understand why they were taking her ball! So on the way home, we explained the concept of soccer to her. Now she understands that when the other kids kick the ball away from her, she needs to run after the ball and try and get it back! We bought her some new gear to entice her back on to the field. Of course it is pink!

The girls go to a party!

Anna's friend, Ellie, just turned four this week and the girls went to her birthday party. These are the "before" pictures. I don't have "after" pictures but if I did, Meg would have pizza sauce all over her shirt and Anna would have popsicle juice all over her face!

The Girls go for a Ride

It's a thunder-ing here in Ohio. I'm not surprised considering how humid it's been here all day. But Todd and the girls managed to squeeze in a bike ride before the rain. This was a first for Meg and I think she enjoyed it. She wasn't too sure of the helmet but she kept it on for the whole ride (probably because she wanted to be just like her big sister!).

It will be a busy week for us. I've got my stained glass class tomorrow night. This time I will be prepared with my own band aids since my fingers still haven't recovered from the last class! Then on Thursday, I'm hosting a social at the house so I've got lots of cleaning and food shopping to do! Poor Todd has to watch the girls for two nights this week!
